New chin spoiler and rear spoiler
Looks like everyone was busy this weekend. I installed my CDC chin spoiler and GT500 spoiler from AM. I took a few pics along the way that may someday help someone out. Not a step by step, just commentary.
Started by taping off work area.
Removed fasteners and started at one end with razor knife. When I got to the first bolt I put a shim under it and started with the fishing line.
Here is what you'll have left when removed.
After some elbow grease, goo gone, and a little Ultimate Compound.
I never thought I'd be a "spoiler delete" fan, but I couldn't help admire how clean it makes the rear end.
Hard work is done, just line it up and bolt it up.
Removed factory chin, replaced with CDC, dead simple.

Look Great! Thanks for the pics & write up.
First time I saw pics that showed the factory rear spoiler has 2 lines of tape holding it on. Will have to remember that when I replace my factory rewar spiloer.,

If you're careful and take your time then there's really nothing to mess up. No hourly employee cares as much about my car as I do. I'm going to be meticulous and make sure it's done properly regardless of break time, quitting time, mad at the boss, mad at the wife, hangover, etc.
