Probably the 2.5" cowl or the Cobra R...but this will be pretty low on the priority list unless my hood gets the rot.

Glad I got mine fixed already. Hate to have to fight with Ford in a few years.

does the dealer have any influence here or are you just at the mercy of your local ford tech rep?

Regarding what? Getting it repainted or where it gets repainted/repaired?

The fact that it is covered under the 5 year corrosion part of the warranty. If your a second owner but have a sympathetic dealer can you get this fixed?
Or is it out of their hands.

Mine fix had to be approved by Ford so I am guessing it is out of the dealers hands. The dealership had to take pictures of the corrosion and paint bubbling and summit them for approval. But being you have a '12 you should have no problem getting it fixed under 100k miles/5 year rust policy.

I got rid of my 2011 GT Premium for a 2014 Track Pack GT...
I hope like crazy that I dont have this issue again with the new car.
