FYI: For owners of the 2010 to 2012 GT500 rear diffuser
This has been a point of an argument from me for a bit of time... against CDC and the rear splitter assembly that is sold via various resellers like AM or LMR etc etc...
The RTR rear valance that comes with the rear side quarter splitters and the diffuser splitter and is listed around $550.00 on all these supplier sites. Well, it turns out the splitters can be ordered from CDC directly for $199.00. Which means you can order the GT500 rear valance diffuser for $150.00 depending on your sources and discounts. And have the same exact kit for significantly less than buying the complete RTR assembly.
This was after I wrote a letter to CDC and explained the problem. To which I learned that they don't list these parts separately since it was a cause for too much confusion from online buyers who failed to read the description and ordered these parts without already owning the GT500 rear valance with the integrated diffuser. And it resulted in too many returns from people who probably couldn't read and attempted to modify the parts rendering them unusable for resale.

Ask for Jess Albright
and provide CDC Part number 1098-7011-01
This is the 3 pieces required to complete the finished look for the rear of your mustang that will match the RTR side Splitters spot on. Now I already ordered and cut 1/4 inch ABS plastic sheets to the same template of all these splitters for considerably less that what CDC sells it for... But I ordered the kit anyway to do a comparison of the fit and finish. More to come when the weather warms up.
Anyhow I hope this information helps others.... keep in mind..you will need to already own a GT500 rear valance. In the end you should save $200 or more over purchasing the completely pre-assembled RTR 3 piece rear valance. And with the money you save... Buy some other nice mods for your car...or keep it in your wallet. Or donate it to me. ;-)
