Mine are 2 years old from AZ and it is cracking and peeling like an SOB right in the middle of my hood. I think extreme temps are bad for the vinyl.

Yeah I can see how AZ would definitely be a state not to have vinyl. Between the heat and the sand, yikes!

Well thank you, many of the mustang folk give me a hard time for too much chrome in this blacked out era. But I like it, thats all that matters.

My only advise is get a got product to start with. I have 3M. I do wash and wax them when I do the rest on the car and they are holding up great. I wont go through a car wash for obvious reasons (not just because it is striped).
