Default running horse mirror light projection switch

I was talking with my dad about his 2014 gt and we think it would be pretty cool to rig up a switch to allow us to turn on and off the running horse mirror projection. For example, if we were going down the high way and we could turn it on just for a little effect.

has anyone done this? i have not found any write up or anything. would it be that hard to do?

My parents are in a mopar club and one of the guys has a charger that has that. I'll check with him and see where he got it at. I don't know if they only do mopar stuff or if you can put any kind of image on to them. I will let you know as soon as I find out. I will say it only looks good at night just so you know in the day time you can either hardly see it or it is so washed out that it looks bad. But at night it looks awesome.

you don't want them on for too long a period. they get very hot and more likely than not will fail much quicker. I know they are LEDs and shouldn't burn out, but one has already gone out on my GT after 2 years. you will see that light gets really hot after its on for a few seconds.

Bad idea, they will fail much quicker. I have already replaced both of mine under warranty. Plus it may not be legal in your city/state. Might want to rethink this one.
