Default 2013/14 GT500 Front Fascia Conversion on 2012 GT

Build list includes:
  • 2013 GT500 Front Bumper Cover
  • 2013 GT500 Upper Grille
  • 2013 GT500 Lower Grille
  • 2013 GT500 Lower Valance
  • 2013 GT500 Fog Light Assembly
  • 2013 GT500 Fog Light Pigtails
  • 2013 GT500 Lower Chin Spoiler
  • 2013 GT500 Front Bumper Cover Isolator
  • 2013 GT500 Upper Radiator Shield
  • 2013 GT500 LH Grille Mounting Bracket
  • 2013 GT500 RH Grille Mounting Bracket
  • 2013 GT500 Front Bumper Mounting Bracket
  • 2013/2014 V6/GT/GT500 Hood

Rerouted the OEM fog lights and spliced the GT500 fog light pigtails for a nice OEM operation. Headlights are NOT Raxiom (poor light output), rather LateModelRestoration's SVE headlights with LED bulbs in the project housing. Light output is amazing.

I got the hood from a guy who was putting an excessively large cowl hood on his 13 GT for $400, painted. Which as anyone who's done body work, a goddamn steal vs the $1300 OEM or $700 aftermarket hood, unpainted.
Total build cost was about $2,300. Dad and I did all the labor. Pretty simple install, actually.
I was planning on putting together a nice build guide, but I'm hella lazy.....so.... yea. LOL.

Very nice job! Looks really good.

I'll admit however that having the GT500 hood instead of the GT one would make it look really nice!

Haha. You're probably right about the hood, but hey, $400 bucks for a factory hood was a deal I couldn't pass up! Thanks for the compliment!

Hey Andrew,

The car is looking great!

I love the way the Raxiom Headlights go with the new front end.

Keep up the good work!

What are your plans for this beauty now?

Thanks. The Eibach Sportlines + the naturally lower GT500 chin spoiler makes for a few inches of ground clearance, but a absolutely killer looking front end.

Where did you get the blacked out faux GT fuel door on the trunk? I've been looking for one for a '13 and I've only seen them for 10-12 (though I don't know what the difference is). I'm trying to lose all the chrome on mine.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, there is no difference 10-14 style.

I had the dealership paint and clear coat the stock. It's awesome because it blends perfectly with the body. I didn't care for the plastidip look because its matte.

Just a photo tip if you don't mind, use the sun to your advantage, make sure the sun is behind you when taking pics, and not your subject matter. Car looks great though.
