Coupe Dash bezel
HI All, I'm new to the forum and I sure someone has asked this question previously but,
My 2014 GT has a textured finish on the gauge bezel, vent cover, and passenger air bag cover that looks like woven metal... What is the finish material? Can it be duplicated or purchased? I have been told by a couple dealers it is a Ford only finish and is only applied to specific parts like the ones above. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

That is your airbag cover and the pattern is most likely called "interlock aluminium."
https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...l?PNC=%3C04302 My 2008 has a similar pattern for my dash trim. It was part of a premium interior package. Anyways, good luck finding it outside of the dealer. Your PN is AR3Z-5804338-CA Are you trying to expand on the pattern to cover other parts of your dash/interior? Best thing to try is just google dash trim overlay or interlock aluminum overlay. Something like that. The difference will be where as your has a feel to it (you can feel the ridges) the overlay will probably be 2D (just a sticker like material). |
