WHAT is physically preventing the fit? The strut towers and bolt patterns are the same with any motor
in it, so what is the actual problem with fitment? Won't clear the hood? Motor?

I'm guessing the intake manifold is just a tad too high.

I was thinking the same thing about the manifold. No one makes a plenum cover either.

After looking at the '14 V6 and their selection of braces, I wondered the same thing. I looked into it awhile back, supposedly the s550's engine is a little bit higher up in the bay. The braces will clear but barely, the only problem is when the engine torques under load itll push up, potentially cracking the manifold. One person attempted using spacers on the bolts but it pushed up on the hood too much, pushing it up a bit. The only successfully installations I've read of was dropping everything with new motor mounts. Sucks, because I was interested as well.

You can install one but you need to use thick washers as spacers. Several have done this. The reason the strut braces done work as designed is because of our god awful intake manifold that sits too high.

Someone will have to make one that goes back along the firewall instead.

If I wanted one for my VW Jetta, they're WAY too expensive, and run back
through the cowl.

I agree a lot of V6 Mustang from 15-17 on the road --there must be a fit that works behind the intake.
