Default Click Sound a Minute or So After Shutoff

Hi Folks,
My 2016 V6 pony makes a click sound, like a valve closing, a minute or so after shutting off the engine. With doors opened or closed.

Anyone know what it is? Just curious. I've had other vehicles where vents, valves, etc. closed or moved after being shut off.

Thanks!

Probably a relay that is on a timer to delay it cutting power to something for a bit. Auto headlights will often have this. Smog systems will sometimes too (Carbon canister solenoid).

Cool That’s so interesting

because mine does the same thing and I’ve notice the longer I’ve had it & the more that I e beat on the car the louder the flick has gotten over time. I don’t know what correlation there could be in that but I just find it intresting🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️

It’s your steering wheel locking because you have the security package.
