Default Winter tires with the 18" stock wheels

Hello all .
I am a very happy new mustang owner. I just bought a 2016 V6 with 18" wheel. At the first day driving it I figured out that my mustang has summer tires and is snowing very often this winter here.

So, the company that I work for has a very good discount on some tires at tirerack.com .
My problem is, they don't have 235\50 R18 winter tires.
They have two slight different tires available 235\55 R18 and 235\45 R18.
Which one should I buy?

Thanks for yours help .

You can compare various sizes here:

If you have a tuner you can adjust the tire revolution per mile to get your mph accurate

Go with the 235/55/18 if you choose not to get a complete wheel/tire package. The difference in rolling diameter won't be that significant IMO. The taller tire will be a little more compliant.

Hi , do you know where online I can buy new cheap steel wheels? if I find cheap 17" wheels I will be able to buy the right size winter 17" tires.

I've spend some time in the internet looking for it but I could not find .

Usually Tirerack.com has great deals on snow tire and wheel combinations. If there is a steel wheel that will fit, they will have it. Otherwise, they will have a very reasonable alloy wheel.
