Borla S Type Question

Borla S Type Question
Hey, guys! I just got the Borla S Type axle backs put on not long ago. They look great and sound pretty good with load on them but I noticed they're a little higher pitched than I thought they'd be. From the comparison videos out there, they seemed much deeper. Granted a lot of the videos I saw had H pipes and/or headers but even the ones that were all stock aside from the S Types seemed a bit deeper. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them, I just expected more of a "mustang" sound than an import sound. Additionally, driving at a low rpm gives off a constant tone, almost reminds me of a honda with an ebay muffler except without the drone and not so deafening. Not so much rumble or gurgle as some say. But with that being said, I'm really not sure what it sounds like outside the car because I barely hear it in the cabin with the windows down unless I'm climbing up in rpm. The video below is what the revs sound like the day of the install. I've put around maybe 100 miles since then into them and it's not much different, maybe a little tamer. So I guess my question is, do these get any better after some time? Has anyone had similar experiences with these? And lastly, would adding the BBK throttle body or shorty headers possibly get me the deeper sound I'm looking for? My other current mods are the Corsa Pro5 Closed Box intake and MPT's 93 PRX tune. Thanks.

Yea, I'm figuring thats just how the v6 is. Atleast until I dive into full exhaust. It's definitely different now though. Maybe a mix between more mileage on it and the weather going from 35 to 75 so suddenly. I'm enjoying it. Still super surprised how quiet they are in lower rpms.
