To each his own. I rode in my buddy's LS2 GTO saturday night and wow nothing like big cube fire breathing N/A power. I want ford to push power and not rely on a blower or anything like that in the top tier mustangs.

And I agree with jtstakelin, a big cube N/A mill would be nice, matted to a 6 spd of course.

This is very cool news, I am glad they will have a better V6 to compete with the Camaro. I wonder if we will see a little boost in mpg, would be cool to see a few mpgs even if thats not the point of the car.
Damn, I just got a 2009 v6 a few months ago. Wonder if I could talk the wife into letting me get a 2011 when it comes around! I could go for a convert, maybe I could try that angle....
I just hope enough buyers come around to keep all of these cars going, ford, chevy, dodge. I can't live without american RWD!!! I'm torque steer intolerant!!!

I agree. This pretty much confirms some type of more powerful V8 is coming for the GT. I'm excited.

I also agree with ThisBlood147, A Supercharged "Terminator 2" SVT Cobra, priced correctly, would make great competition with the SS. If they can execute it like the 03-04, I would be all over it.

That's great, but Ford need to show it can make power with a N/A v8. GM can do it with its LSx motors and Chrysler with the Hemi. Dang it Ford make something that has horsepower and doesn't need F/I

I don't understand why they NEED to show they can make a big cube NA Mustang. I'm not saying I would turn one down if they made it, but I just want to win. Don't car if it's by an inch or 3 car lengths.
