The 2011 V6 Exhaust System
Anyone get thier car yet?
Just wondering if 2010 GT takeoffs will fit the 2011, since the v6 comes from the factory with dual exhaust now...
All I can find off the web is this pic here:

Im not sure if it will, but already having dual exhaust I see no need to upgrade to the 5.0's system. I will have mine between the end of may and beginning off july, I need to get a decent down payment before I order. Oh and a factory X pipe is sweet !!!!

Yea, thats what I meant, the axle back.
See, when I worked on Suzuki motorcycles, we used to call them "parts bin" bikes, meaning that lots of parts would interchange between defferent model years even between different models. Mostly consumables like brakes and filters, but sometimes bigger things like forks and switchgear.
I've never owned a Ford till now, and I didnt know whether ford would just reuse the basic muffler design from the GT on the new V6 close enough forthem to interchange.
If true, this means that new v6 owners could use 2010 GT take offs or aftermarket systems because between Borla and Flowmaster, they aren't looking to release a kit for the 2011 V6 for several months.
And my new V6 is gonna has Flowmasters.

won't be able to use 2010 stuff as a direct bolt on different mounting flanges for the mufflers on the 2011's.
MRT has an axle back out for the 2011 and so does magnaflow they actually have 2 different versions allready. Expect borla flowmaster jba etc to have theirs out shortly as well
