Let me start out by saying….yes, I have to update my tag…now read on..
Ok so sold my wheels and tires from my FIRST MUSTANG LOL, then after 5 hours and some plastic adhesion spray and several cans of spray paint and help from my friend putting the louvers from my OLD 2010 along with my caliper covers ,the 2011 is slowly looking like I want….while doing this today found several other differences in the 2011…in the pictures see the rubber damper on the mufflers, hmmm, the sound proofing material under rear wheel wells, also oil changes are every 10,000 miles, and look at the one pick, a actual oil filter you can grab from above, also redline is 7,000 rpms, from the ford site statement below it displays as much as 8,000 I
I painted the windshield cover , mufflers, and radiator cover, so how’s lookin?

"6-speed manual transmission
Mustang now features a standard six-speed** manual transmission delivering a smooth-shifting performance. On top of that, it provides more responsive low-end acceleration and greater fuel economy in the high overdrive gear.* Enthusiasts will also appreciate the increase in tachometer redline display from 7,000 to 8,000 rpm. EPA-estimated V6 19 city/29 hwy/23 combined mpg"

"OH OK", Sorry that I'm not on here every waking moment to respond to you! Second I am not the one who said I was a First time owner with your second mustang! Your actions only make sense to you!

Talked to roush today about short throw shifter for 2011 V6...they are testing, but other than being taller as was in my 2010 GT, it is not making too big a differ. in the throw they said, so new tranny shifter is close they say, but myself as well as car & Driver harps on same thing about shifter, so short no comfortable shifting and you hit you drink each time. The strut bar that goes across the engine as well may not be out until after August well, don't let Ford sell you part # 16A200, that will not fit, maybe the 2010 but not the '11.

GTJT2010, I think your car looks really good with the rear window louvers, I have yet to see one with it on. Also are you planning on lowering your car?

thanks not lowering, I'm trying not do a lot to this one, windows being tinted this weekend though, was glad I was able to get my louvers off the 2010.
i want strut bar when available, and short throw shifter from roush when done in about 2 months

I just think it would look better lowered with those rims! Have you noticed much of a difference in power from the 10 GT to the 11 v6? I'm sure a lot of people want to know the answer as the numbers are similar!
