Went to a car show at the largest Mustang dealer in town on Sat and for the first time ever I drove a pony that was not an 8. The car I drove was and 11 (blue) v6 MT with 3:31 gears. For starters the car was WAY to quite even at full throttle and the power down low in the rpm`s was lacking in my expert opinion. I suppose I have been spoiled but I do not forsee ever purchasing a v6, to me it`s an 8 or bust. Oh the interior of the 6 was nice indeed but otherwise. I had the chance to drive the 5.0 and 11 GT500 but I was tired and went home before I had a chance to twist the ignition on the two beasts. I guess the 6 might make a decent daily driver but I will never know. The price on the 6 I drove was 24,000.00 which seemed more than fair so for those that have the new 6 enjoy.

noted, if you are driving anything over 400 HP yeah would feel skuggish, compared to my '10 GT allow quiet, it's not that much of a dog...on another note not saying C&L looks like not wanting to seell product but if you scroll down on this web page they pretty much say buying a CAI for the 6 waste of time, and due to having a JLT system on my '10, when had dyno'd twice with stock and JLT the tuner noted how well the stock CAI was on it, said actually was same but the JLT just looked nicer, so I agree CAI is not going on my 6 Banger,

Low 5 seconds for 0-60 and high 13s in the 1/4 is not something I would call slow. I rather like the balance of the car. It's quicker than probably 90% of the cars out there, light and nimble and it gets great gas mileage. And all that for under $25K. You can't ask too much more.

Perhaps he wasn't at 10/10's with the accelerator which is where you would get numbers like that (except for the great gas mileage part).

I think he was referring to the difference in torque which makes the driving experience different.

I call 3 times today to discuss how to say what tunes and so on, then asked who was writing them, said they had , did i want order, i said ok I'll use bill me later, oh since using that have to order online, so did, placed order, charged, got email to go to bama tunes pick your options, only 5.0 available, so called back talk to same person, oh we don't have the 6 ready, that was after 3 calls where they knew I had a v6, so had to refund and wait, i hate that.
