Did you reset the ECU to help the car recalibrate to the new exhaust? Does it feel like it makes more power at all?

no did not recalibrate. My plans are to install 3.73 gears and then do a recalibrate at that time.
Will work on a video when I got time. All I can say is had a couple times another car come along side and look. Cars like formula, mustang. Even one camero. All were v8's. Guess I got them thinking my car has power.

Can not tell if more power but it is suppose too. Probably at best 15 hp.
Maybe one day will do 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

Nice!!!

The Magnaflows have really started to pick up lately.

if anyone else is in the market shoot me the part number to sales@southernmustangparts.com and I'll hook you up with a great price.

We brought a bunch into the shop the last month and are looking to move them quick!!!

Are you getting any drone in the interior of the car. I like to hear the exhaust, not drone. I am considering these mufflers also.

Default drone

I dont know if it is considered drone sound or not since I dont have anything to really compare it to. But will say this. As I drive at a steady pace I can hear it but it is real low. With radio turned up a couple clicks it blocks the muffler sound. However when I take off I can hear it very well. I can hear it inside the car but it is louder then stock so I would assume I should be able to hear it. And when I go up a hill and the engine draws more power it gets louder. But I like it. Being a Harley rider with V&H pipes, the magnaflow is what I probably would like after all. I asked my 23 year old son if he thought it was to loud and he said no. Remember if I want quite then best stick to stock.

All I can say is I like them.

As for where I got them I told the dealer after market guy from where I bought my stang what I wanted with part no. Then had them install. Magnaflow website ref. Total cost of parts and labor and tax was about $680.

First what model of Magnaflow did you have installed? It sounds like you made the right choice.

Drone is a very unpleasant sound that sometimes occurs with aftermarket mufflers. It is a sound which seems to fill the car and makes the car unpleasant to drive. It is a resonance which occurs at about 2000 rpm. It gets loud and feels like there is pressure building inside the car.

It sounds like these mufflers just sound good and do not have that down side.
