from2.73 to 3.73
Well today I made my apointment with dealer for next wednesday to have the 3.73 gears installed. I believe it is going to run me around$900 installed but will still be in warranty. Either way it will be cool. Also my SCT tuner with Bama tunes should come next week as well. All I will be waiting for then will be the C&L CAI. I think I will stop mods at this point and just enjoy the stang. It will have looks and speed and status.
If I ever get to track to run it I will post results.
Anyone else going to change gears? Wonder what my 0-60 should be about with all that and an auto.
Tuner, 91 octane performance and street.

FFRP for ring and pinion is less than $200, had my done for $537 parts and labor.

$1600 does sound high, $537 sounds very good. Guess I am getting middle of the road price.
I wonder if anyone has ran the v6 with 3.73 for 1/4 and 0-60 times?
Honestly though it is all just for fun and to talk about and show.
I had a 2007 Harley Fatboy that I put over $14000 into it. It was a
real show bike and fun. Engine build to 103ci. 107 hp and 115tq. Quick and fun.
I just love fixin up my cars and bikes.

They cannot void your warranty due to mods to your car. Go away from the dealership and get your work done. If they say something or try to "VOID" your warranty tell them about the Magnuson- Moss warranty act. Look it up yourself if you want to know!
