I have been looking at several sites and have not seen much mention of what the 3.7 is running stock and with mods.

How do they handle at the track? Are they easy to launch?

I can tell you from dead stop at a light compared to my '10 GT, the GT had more of a pull off the line where the 3.7 wants to leap w/ 3.31 gears and 6 spd. manual, it's quick

The auto vert w/2.73`s is a little weak off the line. No problem launching `cause it won`t spin the wheels. Even with the AM/Bama 93 octane performance tune there is no wheelspin off the line.

Once the engine hits 4k this thing really moves. Without tune ran a 14.8441 @ 94.63. The DA was 1330 for a corrected run of 14.632 @ 96.023.

If rain stays away Sat. I will have tuned figures.

Here is my best time at the track. I have the base model, so it has the cheapest tires I would think. I am still 100% stock. The time on the timeslip is the one I use in my signature.

Where are you running, kilkare? I can't see what the slip says at the top. I'm an hour away from Dayton and don't know where any good strips are.

Yep, KilKare. Thursday night test and tune. PM me or something if you ever decide to give it a try. It's an easy drive for me.

Today`s run (best of three) at Martin. Tried all 3 tunes. This is the performance tune results. Stock best was DA corrected 14.632@96.023.

Todays run corrects to 14.303@96.95. I had about 8 gallons more fuel aboard today also and a little headwind. Scale weight was 3875. I`m 195.

I am car 695. Other car was a Viper.

viper only beat you by a srcond, but 124 mph, he must been sleeping at line on spinning them, good job..

I was told he lit his tires up pretty good. I kept hearing him commimg and wondering when he would catch me. When he did about 1/2 track he went by like a viper should againgt a v6`er. Woosh.....gone!
