Default Love my highway mileage

I recently took a trip from Ohio to Colorado and back and kept track of my mileage for the entire trip. I averaged 27.5 for the trip. Not bad for driving 75-80 mph most of the way and not necessarily keeping off the gas pedal all the time (gunning it on the on-ramps is fun).

Is that per the onboard or is that hand calculated?

I use Hand and the Avg MPG gauge on car and eco feature on my 765 Garmin Nuvi and it comes out on all 3 the same, if one is off, it's like less then 1 MPG, 365 miles, used 12.5 gal that was daily drivin this week, not putting foot in it. What's that 29.2? Shell 87, I wish they had some Chevron or Texaco's around here, closest I found they were open one week then closed the next,

I got 31.27 mpg on my trip down to florida and 33.03 mpg on the way back. In my defense, I set cruise control on almost the whole way

Although I wouldn't trade up my 5.0 by any means, I do have to say that I'm envious of the awesome gas mileage you 3.7 sixxers are getting
