This is exactly the news I needed today. I've had such a horrible day with college, but this has made my freakin' day! Thank you!

Also, knowing what professionals were able to do with it, I can now use that as a goal for me to set so I can get better at my launches. This thread should totally be a sticky!

If I may ask, at what RPM did you do your launch at?

I'm eagerly awaiting the video! Any ETA on it?
I'm glad we could make your day! Our Race Red v6 is going to take a beating over the next few months. It's got less than 500 miles on it, but already over 40 dyno pulls, 3 different CAI's tested, and been to the track!

We punched it off idle, and had no issues. We might try foot-braking when we have better tires. We will have the video up first thing in the morning, and we are heading back to the track for more testing this weekend! Gotta get you guys the 93 octane results that you requested, as well as some CAI numbers!

My Vert gained .329 seconds using a 93 octane performance tune from you and the 2.73`s. I launched both stock and tuned from idle and had no wheelspin at all. I still only had a 14.303 corrected so mine isn`t quite as quick as yours.

I`ll probably get new tunes in the spring when I get her back out. I`m sure you will have made progress since mine was written.

I now have 3.55`s and it will be interesting to see what that does for the times.

I will be very intrested in the CAI results.

You do an outstanding job for us and we all need to be greatfull for all the wonderfull `stang vendors who make our lives more fun.

Thanks Chris, and all who make the magic of these tunes possible.

I didn't think to ask. You mentioned about the launch being from idle, but I forgot to ask one thing. How was your traction control set. Were both on, TC off, or the entire stability system off?

On my car it doesn`t matter. I got no wheelspin at all so nothing activates. I did try with both traction and esc off and the results were the same.

Eagerly awaiting CAI results. You have no idea how many times I added the C&L cai to my cart and went all the way to the last step before checkout on cyber Monday. Each time I had the logical self whispering in my ear "don't be an idiot, $300 for what?!?!". I'm one of the few who would actually rather not have the noise of the CAI. So if all I'm getting is 5-10 hp and a bunch of noise then I'm out. If on the other hand somebody manages to pick up 20hp with proper tuning, I'm in.

We had traction control off, then with stability off and there wasn't any difference. It will probably be a requirement to turn it off once we add a CAI/93 octane.

Thanks again for all of the kind words! Until we get back to the track this weekend, you can enjoy video below!

We enjoyed beating a V8 Trans Am in stock form!

Lol. Dude if I only made 40 ft of progress and I was shifting to 3rd I'd have shut it down 30 feet prior to the accident.
