That's really awesome that the V6 Mustang tied the class record. It ran into that speed limiter for about 15 seconds. If that limiter is removed, therefore, it would easily take the win. That's good to know.

Yes, the 2011 Mustang V6 beat the lap time (4.1 mile road course) of the 2010 Mustang GT and was only 5 seconds - out of 3minutes and 12 seconds - behind the 2011 Mustang 5.0 GT (and the speed limiter in the V6 was restraining the car for over 30 seconds total during the lap). Great performance
