Default type of filter on cai's

what company's like c & l , jlt , and mmr use k & n's ?

i trust the quality of k & n so when i order my intake id like it to use their filter.

if they do not use k & n , are their filters cleaned and oiled the same way?

im asking because i have only ever used k & n's on my previous cars.

last question is , do you have to relocate the maf , or do they already come with one?

I have the mmr and it looks like, atleast to me, that they use a k&n filter. It uses the same maf as the stock intake, you jus unplug it from the original and plug into the new one.

I believe JLT is done testing, just waiting on enough parts to come in to meet demand. I am hoping we see these by end of month or early February.

JLT's filters are made by S @ B. They are very high quality...

Sorry, but K&N conical air filters are sup-par compared to some of the others on the market. Just my opinion.

It's been my experience that wet type filters such as the k&N offer great filtration but over time can coat the maf sensor with oil distorting the readings. I prefer to use dry type filters like Vibrant.
