Ah, your very close. I live in St. clair shores.

I dunno how those numbers from the vendor will match up with the real world, but they seem a bit high to me.

I emailed BBK on 1-5-11 regarding when their headers will be available. This was their answer.

It will be released in the next few days, the p/n is 1642 for chrome or 16420 for ceramic.

Thanks,

I then asked Bama regarding a tune required or not. This was their answer.
Rick,
At this time we do not have any 2011 V6 Mustang Headers here. I am not certain if any manufactures have them available yet. Your best bet would be to check with them. As for tune updates If you went with long tube headers a tune update would be needed as well as if you were to delete the catalytic converters. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I figure I will be adding headers to my stang soon.

AM is trying to obtain Kooks, but they Kooks wants more interest to start building them.

Best best is to convince AM to get the BBK ones since they are the closest to being avaliable, or Bassani. American Racing is also on the horizon.

We have the BBK listed on our website (until there is a better ETA, they're hidden), and the Kooks are going to be a reality soon.

I think 20HP and 20TQ at the flywheel is about right. Horsepower/Torque at the wheels will be about 20% less. So 16RWHP and 16RWTQ is very realistic. That's very close to what you'll find with the 2005-2010 GT. I'm being slightly conservative, too. You typically pick up over 19RWHP with long tubes on an 05+ GT. These gains should be about the same.
