Well word has it on another forum that people who placed their orders more or less at the same time as I did would get theirs in maybe feb or march.

A recent recheck on that thread mentionned that they should be starting production and vin assignment next week if I recall correctly. However if that is true or not I don't know. Seemed to have been supported by a few members.

Let's be hopeful! And let's hope that taking a hardtop with no glass roof speeds up things for me T_T.

While I'm here I'd like some feedback from 2010+ owners.

How's the backseat headroom like in those cars? It's not a major concern for me but I was curious. And it's impossible to test out with empty dealers LOL.

backseats in general are good for short trips, I wouldn't want to be back there for any length of time. The headroom isn't terrible, not great either.

As for updates. Someone in another forum is claiming that, his car that he ordered on Dec 29 has a build date of 2/21 and an estimated delivery date of 3/7.

I got my order placed on 1/5 so I'm hopeful of getting it in march :P.

Upsh1ft, my order was placed 11/30/2010 and I got "pulled" (VIN assigned) last Thursday. It'll be interesting to compare timelines as we go.

What forum was the other discussion at? Have a link? One thing I do not know is the lag between being pulled and being scheduled (to build).

***UPDATE***

Got a call from my salesperson at my dealership today. The car is scheduled to arrive at the dealership in the April 10-12 range! Woohoo!

You'll wish he had never told you that. My dealer called me to say that it had been built and I should see it within a week or two (I live 40 min from flat rock). It took over a month, those last two weeks I was furious that my car was sitting on a lot 40 minutes away and that you pay $800+ in a destination fee. Though once it showed up and I drove it home, I didn't have a care in the world.

Hopefully it arrives on time. I've been waiting since jan lol. Oh well like you said, once I drive it home I'll be satisfied. Now to find somewhere to do a ceremonial burnout.
