Chrome V6 wheel

Anybody have this on their car? If so, can you please post a picture. I think it looks great compared to stock, but I want to compare how it looks with other wheels on the car.

I've never been a fan of chrome wheels, but I haven't seen these at all. The only chrome ones I've seen are the pony package ones.

I found these on Ebay with a wheel exchange program. I like the stock wheels, and the chrome look awesome, but without seeing them on the car......who knows. I may give them a shot in May or so if I don't find anything else.

What those are, are stock wheels with aftermarket chrome. I recommend you be careful because they might not look that pretty after a couple years. That is why they want your wheels. You are basically getting someone else's OEM stock wheels they chromed up. Additionally, they are the 17x7 wheels, so if you are wanting to upsize, you should look at their other options.

Tire rack has a nice selection of wheels and tires for a good price, it was cheaper for me to get a wheel / tire pack from them for my Caddy, than for just tires, they mounted, balanced, shipped to front door 900.00 and all I did was put on,

I was going to say I've seen decent tire and wheel combos for just a little more than what they are charging.

I have been to tire rack many times to look, but honestly, I really don't know what I am looking for. If I find one I like, I am confused on offset and what will fit on the car. I have seen some kool looking ones on the forums, and have sent a request to someone about the size they have, but haven't heard back yet.

I haven't changed wheels on a car since the late 80's. It wasn't complicated then like it is today.....probably not complicated now really, i just don't know yet.

how much do you guys think i could get for a set of pony package wheels and stock tires? how much would shipping cost more less also? very low milage wheel/tires?

hogasswild 03-25-2011 05:33 AM

I've seen them under a grand with the TPMS included.

With the tires, around $1000-$1300

Tire rack is fool proof, if you put your vehicle in there as they tell you to do, the wheels and tires you order will fit your car, as long as you do all the right boxes they will fit, i put in my info for caddy, it showed my stock wheels and tires and then i looked at what they had under there to fit, had about 40 sets to pick from, same with mustang, my 20's 10" wide, I had on my '10 GT , a guy on craigs list bought them for his '08 Z350 Nissan, fit like a glove..call them if you want more info.

If you put in all your vehicle info, Tire-Rack (or others including Discount Tire Direct) will only show you a list of wheels that WILL FIT YOUR CAR so you don't need to be concerned with offset, etc. If you want to see them on a Mustang, these sites are programed to show you this too. The image shown will obviously not be as installed on an actual car and paint colors to pick from might not be exact, but you can at least get an idea of what the combo will look like.
