Does anyone know where I can find decibel levels for different axlebacks? I want to be able to put the loudness into numbers. Youtube is great for hearing the tone of each, but I want to actually know how loud/quiet each is. I've seen stainless works' levels, but can't find them from anyone else.

I'm not sure that's even possible, at least with ANY sense of accuracy. As you play with the engines tune parameters, the exhaust note will change. Ever notice how your car's exhaust changes at idle from a cold start-up to normal operating temp? The difference from closed loop vs open loop alone are pretty dramatic. And that's just on any one engine. Put the same exhaust on another engine and it's a totally different ballgame.

And IF there were any measurements posted, I'd want to know to what standard were they obtained? Without some guidelines, the #'s would be all over the place for the same exhaust on the same car with the same operating parameters.

I pretty well agree with Nuke !
The best you might hope to accomplish is to rule out the Obnoxious Sounding exhausts.
Even the youtubes vary, the best is when they back their cars onto grass to eliminate the resonating sounds off the harder concrete or asphalt.
