Default How to get the most RWHP.

I'm young and inexperienced with cars, but I want to learn. And just like everyone else out there I want the most RWHP that I can get on all-motor.

So can anyone give me advice on what to do to a stock 3.7 stang to get the most all-motor RWHP?

(However, I want to keep the engine "safe," and not do anything "freaky" to it.)

-Thanks

I am old and do not understand your slang, I would recommend a supercharger if you have the money.

If the car isn't your cup of tea, I recommend a V8, preferably a 5.0. You can spend $1000 on mods and only pick up about 25 hp at the flywheel. A Super Charger costs $6000-$7000.

Can anything be done to spend less hp on the drive-train, thus allowing for more at the wheels? Or is my car logic totally wrong on that idea?

Like others have stated, your best bet for quicker take offs is probably to change your gear ratio in the differential from 2.73 to 3.73. You won't pick up any HP, but your car will be quicker and it can be done for about $600 total.

Add a Cold Air Intake, Long Tube Headers, Shorty Off Road Xpipe and a Catback System with a custom tune and you will be smoken down the road.

Go check out my thread and see how much I have gained with what mods. That should give you an idea of what you can expect.

Started and ended not over a year ago since that was done for this past christmas.

He is asking what mods he can make and expect WHP gains from and that is what that thread is about.

Only mods I can think of that might net any extra WHP are Throttle Body and Alum Driveshaft.

So I think that thread does answer his question aobut getting more WHP
