Default Stainless Works Catback Retro Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either this product or products in general from Stainless works. And maybe an opinion on the sound. I just found a vid for their Restro system for the 3.7 and I must say I think I may have found a sound I like.

I like it too, but no numbers are posted for it than sound levels. It's also twice as much as other catbacks except for Borla which has a huge reputation.

Yeah borla seems to be great as a company and for service and reputation. But I don't like the sound of any of their offerings for this car. Like all other aftermaket exhaut brands I personally find the sound worse than stock. But that's me. I also don't expect my car to sound like a v8 but I don't wanna be confused with a riced 4banger either. I want that v6ish sound. Heck call me crazy but I find or engines sound like "half a v12" and it's a trait id like to conserve

As you requested, we happen to have some DB's for the V6 exhaust!

Nice sound and a nice looking system. How's the noise level inside the car?

Inside the car isn't so bad, if you look at that chart, its only a few Db's higher than stock.

Yeah and also within legal sound levels so I wouldn't attract some unwanted attention.

Why do catbacks have to be so pricey though T_T.

Have you sold a lot of units? Are there more videos of the product forthcoming?

Yes we have sold a number of them, mostly due to the sound. Since we are using the chambered mufflers, it provides a deep aggressive sound that is unique to this motor because it will not sound "ricey" or like a small bass boat...haha

That sounds great, I may just get that on mine. One question, though, if I go to an authorized dealer, what is the average price for the installation?

Every dealer is different with pricing for install, it also depends on what other items they install at the same time.
