Default 235/55-R17s on Stock V6 Manual Wheels?

As the topic states... any issues with running 235/55-R17s on the stock (base) V6 Wheels? It's got 225/60-R17s on there right now but there are way more choices for winter tires in the 235/55-R17 size.
I've read that the rims were 17x7 and 17x8 but I'm pretty sure that they're the former... I'd just like to avoid buying new rims (and TPMS) just to put on decent performance winter tires.

There is a very good tire size calculator at http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit.

The 235/55-R17 will read 60 when you are going 61, it will fit on a rim that is 6.5" to 8.5".
