Default Halo Headlights troubleshoot

I've installed halos (http://www.americanmuscle.com/smoked...ghts-0509.html) but the passenger's side halo keeps going out from time to time. At first, I had the wires connected by using insulated disconnect connectors. I then tried using just heat shrink tubing which didn't work either. And now, I've soldered the wires together and the halo is still going out. The driver's side halo has never gone out though.

Could it be that the headlight is faulty or is it still the wiring job? I tried calling AmericanMuscle but the employee didn't seem to be much help and didn't really know the answer either.

You might want to try in the american muscle forum area directly, or by reaching out to Chris (AMChrisYoung I blv is his username!), he's very helpful and may be able to give you some ideas of things to check.

Outside of the one going in/out, hows the quality/light output/cool factor on those?

Googled a bit. This link, right? http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/americanmuscle/

They look really nice. It's just that if one of them is out, it looks completely dumb.

Try the AM forum here on MF as well.

The purpose of heat shrink tubing is to also guard wires and small parts from damage. The combining and fixing wires also happens when needed. In a process like Electrical Engineering heat shrink tubing is used for connections, terminals, wires, and joints that
need to be padded.

Heat shrink tubing comes in multiple types and this is performed via the process of using a color code. This is done so when we're dealing with connectors and wires the use of a color code makes things more identifiable.
