Default Airaid CAI and Bama 93 Performacne Tune

Today santa dropped two presents off for me. A SCT tuner with bama tunes on it and an airaid cold air intake.

The intake was a bitch to get on actually, the way the it all fits in there is tight, without even clamping the thing it would stay on.

Then I tuned the car which is always a nail biting experience. One voltage drop or god for bid the wire gets pulled out of the OBDII port, ecu bricked haha.. the tune took quite a while to upload, but its mainy because it first had to copy my stock tune onto the tuner.

Overall this is a great combo. I love the intake just for the fact it sounds sick. You can here the engine sucking and it makes a sweet swooshing noise under half throttle it is deff a hell of a lot less restrictive then the stock intake piping.

I have 3 tunes on my tuner 87 Street, pretty much just in case i cant find 93, most likely never going to use it, then i got 93 performance which I am running now and i also got 93 race just in case im feeling saucy

93 race advances the spark timing a little farther then 93 performance and it also makes the throttle much more sensitive. But for daily driver 93 performance is great, the car definitely pulls harder. There is much more power down low then there was before.

I am very happy with this purchase and i felt that the tuner was a basic mod that I needed so when I do gears and what not down the road I can adjust my speedo as well as take full advantage of 93 octane gas.

Yeah, a tune definetly wakes up these cars. I got my tune the same day I got my gears installed and it felt like I was driving a different car!

Everyone has heard how disappointing the stock tune is in the lower RPM range and how well a custom tune chnages that. Congrats!
