Which tuner would be the best bang for your buck?

I looked into CAI and Tuners for awhile and ended up going with an Airaid CAI with SCT Bama 93 Street tune and just love them both.

i am trying to get this in the next couple months, but everyone i talk to about my mustang locally recommends BAMA for sure. BAMA also can be found on this forum with their representatives posting on threads to make performance recommendations, or to attempt to help people get more speed. they just seem legit to me. anyway, here's a link for ya:

Very happy with my AM/Bama tunes. The car makes good power, is very smooth and gets excellent gas mileage!!

LOL, they are very legit and probably one of the best Mustang parts sellers out there. I have always gotten great support, prices are always good (they do price matching) and free shipping.

A SCT X3 is the type of tuner you want. If you plan on heavily modding your car, Bama X3 for $380 with Free tunes for life is your best bet as they will give you new tunes as you continue to mod your car.

If you are looking for a lower budget way, you can get a used, unlocked X3 for about $250 and then buy a single tune from a place like Brenspeed, BlowbyRacing, VMP for about $60.

I do have a unlocked X3 for sale in classifieds to. :-)

AM also sells intakes bundled with the tuner and tunes for life. You can save a couple bucks buying them together.
