You picked a bad choice for great MPGs. It does look good though.

LOL, we know what the car gets on the highway. Pretty sure Ford said 31mpg. My point was a 4cyl would have been a better option if you wanted great MPGs. They don't look as good though.

Actually my car is rated for 29mpg lol. I have 3.31 gears. I owned a VW with a 4cyl 2.0 turbo with 200hp and really only got 31mpg, so considering I have over 100hp more and essentially get the same fuel economy is pretty awesome IMO.

My last daily driver was a Grand Cherokee, I enjoyed driving it but gas milage was killing me, it had some nice punch off the line even with big tires and quadra drive, it was an all around nice vehicle.

But I found myself staying home rather then going places because the amount of money I was spending on gas was just too painful.

I am getting double the milage out of my Mustang, the Mustang also has way more top end and much better handling.

Only complaint I have about my V6, is that now I have to start all over again on the modding fun (Is that even a complaint?). Lighter, and not much of a step away from older v8's times (albiet the new 5.0 leaves our 3.7 behind quite readily).

I'm not getting the great gas milage yet, but then again I've been 'having fun' the first week or so with 'er. I'm sure I'll get into the mid 20's MPG eventually...

I'm impressed with the new six but the v8 sound is what I enjoy. I have a friend with a 2011 v6 which WAS putting more power down than my 4.6 (which sucked btw) The six does get better gas mileage if thats what your looking at mpg/decent power all in one.

People value things differently. To some people the sound is more important, some people value looks more, some people economy more. Ally that to the other details, rear wheel drive, dual stainless exhaust, limited slip, big door openings, etc..
I saw an Altima coupe the other night on display, $25,000+,, 175 HP? I was thinking why? Well someone out there likes it. But I paid a lot less for my mustang, well I should say the sticker price was less then that on my mustang, who knows what the Altima will actually sell for.
