Hmm.. I'm somewhat shocked actually, given my previous car experiences at high speeds.. Guess this is an addition to my mod list, and very near the top now.

Did you replace yours when you FI'd Redfire?

Lessee, Alum DS, + Gears + exhaust next. That just piled on some #'s... :/



I'm not some crazy high speeder, but I want my car to not blow up if I'm at an event, or drag run or what have you - that really is disheartening.. That's really not encouraging to here or see at all for anyone wanting to increase their v6's performance on all fronts - I do wonder the history behind the car 'before' the video though.. Never know the abuse it may have already seen.

Thats pretty scary he's lucky it didn't come through the bottom of the car and hurt him

Yes I went to an aluminum drive shaft about 2 weeks after FI, especially since the 2005 and some early 2006s didn't have retaining clips on the joints connecting on the tranny or axle side. afixer actually had his 2005's grenade like that on a dyno @ 140mph or so.
