I would everyone with the same model as me has noticed the trunk can be tough to close, you have to slam it pretty good.
Mine is pretty stiff as well, it may loosen up over time, I know in the two weeks I've owned my 2012 the drivers door has loosened significantly. The passenger door and trunk are still difficult though.
