Default price range for mustang v6 convertible

Hey all,

I am looking into the mustang v6 convertible, either 2011 or 2012. Color doesn't matter. But i'm looking to spend 20,000. I went on cars.com and found a 2011 v6 convertible for 20,9000 with 10,000 miles on it. I'm wondering if this is the best kind of deal i will get or are there any other competitive deals out there. I live in fort lauderdale, florida. I usually use kbb to get a fair price value of a vehicle, but if one is preowned with 10,000 for example, I cant find a fair price value on kbb. So I'm also wondering if there is a kbb for preowned cars where you can plug in the mileage car has and then it give you a fair value for it.

thanks for response.

There is a wide variance in Mustang convertible prices that depends on the "options" on the car. The "base model" is quite a bit cheaper then the "premium model." Also, if the convertible is a "Pony Package" or an MCA Package (Mustang Club of America)" there is another thousand+ dollars in wheels, tires, spoiler etc. I would think that price for a 2011 V6 "premium convertible" with 10,000 miles - in very good condition - would be a pretty good deal. If you know the options on the car, try the KBB for "trade-in" and the KBB for retail. Somewhere in that range is probably about right.

I'm just gonna put this out there, I paid 21,400 for my coupe. I drove a conv from ATL to houston last month. There is NO way I would ever own a conv. I love the stang but the road noise is DEAFENINGLY loud. If you modify ANY part of this car, you better have some bangin' car audio.

Well, just to demonstrate the opposite view, I wouldn't own a Mustang if they didn't have a convertible
