I tried mine at 4,000 RPM, the car did not move at all.

I said engineer. What I should have said is SVT program manager. I take my car to the dealer across from AAI. I can't wait to upload you all my service reports and my lawsuit settlement letter and then give them this forum print of people telling me their car does not move when car is reved and clutch pedal is pushed.

Program manager needs a different job.

Anyway you shouldn't need forum posts to prove your point. It is basic laws of physics. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, if the two pieces aren't touching (flywheel and clutch) then there is no action, so no possible reaction (car moving).

47,000 miles and have never experienced this phenomenon. My transmission can be a little notchy in really cold weather, but keeping it garaged helps resolve that problem.

Car should not move with the clutch in on a level surface.

yea clutch needs to be adjusted it sounds like its not properly adjusted. Maybe your hydraulic clutch fluid is low? Should get this checked out asap.
