Default 2013 v6 perf package wheels questions

Anybody know the weight of the wheels in a performance pack 2013/v6?

I would like to get one into the 12's(without a FI) and those wheels look pretty heavy. Was thinking a step down to some decent lightweight 18's would free up some power. If I keep the same width, would you expect any loss of handling?

I might be able to get a weight number for you this week, though it would be approximate (wheel and tire - tire weight). One of the first things on my to-do list is to get some 18s for daily driving and save the 19s for autocross and showing off.

Should not effect handling negatively, if anything the effect of smaller LTW wheels w/ same width will be positive. Less unsprung weight to turn, less you have to mash the foot to get same results especially in a autox/handling situation. Heck you might even want to go a lil wider in the back so it all gets to the floor if you get really good LTW's.

Good luck!

I'm wondering about this too....been thinking that the GT500s would look great on a V6PP car, and probably be lighter too.

Pretty sure they're heavy. 19's are absolutely silly on cars.

Some Enkei RPF1's would be a great performance wheel. They come in almost every size imaginable, affordable and light.

The PP package wheels weigh about 25.5 pounds
