3.7 Airaid CAI Dyno results.

id be interested to know if they used an A/F ratio guage while you were on the dyno.
the ONLY way your car made gains like that is if the car was horribly tuned from the factory and was running EXTREMELY rich. Pig rich. Then you added additional air to that rich condition and it made the kinda power the car shoulda made.
I believe your stock dyno #s were too low to begin with (which would happen from a high air fuel ratio)

A tune is usually recommended with a lot of CAIs but even that being said your mpg should have improved a little bit. I would say get a tune as well and then see what it does. Also did you start driving differently when you put the intake on cause that too could be a factor
Usually a few months after the CAI "fun factor" has worn off, mpg's start to improve. Notice I said usually...lol

I second what clark said,,,
When you do a mod you want go out and stab that skinny pedal to the floor every chance you get, I know the other night I put a new TB on and I was out trying it out, my Avg MPG gauge went from 27.7 to 10.4 in a hurry. So that is the tricky part about MPG, are the habits and where near what they were before?
