Default speed limited with a bama tune

I have a 2013 v6 with a bama tune.
It looks like to me it is limited to 200 KM.
What is that in MPH? 125 +or-
anyone else seen this?
I think it is a good idea?
I know it is because of the driveshaft.

1 km = 0.621371 mi

200 x 0.621371 = 124.2742

Call them and ask. And isn't the speed limiter adjustable with the tuner? Like the rev limiter, I thought it was a user-adjustable parameter.

Are you sure it's the tune and that you're not simply at the peak speed for that gear? I know that some folks with the 4.0 would peak at a lower top speed in 5th gear than in 4th due to the higher torque in the upper ranges.

Hey, I'd be happy to clear this up for you!

We do set a speed limiter at 125MPH on all 11+ V6's. We do this for the safety of your driveshaft as you listed. Once you get a 1-piece driveshaft we can lift this limiter for you. All you have to do is give my Bama team a call and let them know you have an aftermarket driveshaft now and they'll hook you up!

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

-Dan

Hello to all ,This is my first post !!
Im about to purchase a Bama Tune for my Silver 2013 V6 6 Spd.,, I only have the BBk CAI and the rest is stock besides the Stereo ,, So how much does the BAMA tune help regarding HP gains. Is it really noticable (550 ttl) ? They claim 30+ at AM . Next Question is how much horsepower would I gain from having a Mustang performance shop do there own custom tune using a Dyno and spending another 221 bucks,They said they didnt know the HP gain because they only do GT's and Cobras,Shelbys ? Appreciate any help

A Bama tune gave me .34 sec in the quarter. I don`t know about hp but it sure did make the car run faster. That said, the quicker shifts for the auto I have was some of that.

I would tend to believe a dyno tune where the exact results can be seen immediately has to be better. Good luck which ever way you go.
