Question 2013 v6 driveshaft

I went from a 2011 v6 to 2013 v6.
The first thing I wanted to know was, if the driveshaft are the same.
I checked at ford parts, months ago and it was the same number.
I am now being told that the 2013 v6 driveshaft is different.
I now want to get it on a hoist to see if there is a difference.
Are the driveshaft the same or not?(2011-2013)
Any input is welcome.

I was under my 2013 last week and the driveshaft was not the 2 piece with carrier bearing; it looked more like the 4" aluminum one that I had in my 2006 from Shaftmasters. So when I was by the dealer this past weekend I asked the parts guy to check.

Different part numbers, and the pictures showed a one piece aluminum for 2013 and 2 piece with carrier bearing for the 2011-12. But he did say there was a note about "early build and late build" 2013's. Mine was built in June 2012.

Just went out and looked under mine...it's a 2-piece. Can't get to the p/n right now unfortunately...guess that happens as a "early adopter." Grr!

If someone can post up the p/ns that would be great. I'm planning on replacing mine soon, and might consider the Ford 1 piece.

That would be some great news, maybe Ford figured it out. I wonder f it's any lighter. Any way you can snap a photo?

I did take a look under the car today.
It is hard to see without being on a hoist, but it looks like a two piece.

The 2013 V-6 Mustangs have had three drivelines this year. BR3Z 4602-A 03/22/10 to 05/14/12. BR3Z 4602-B 05/14/12 to 12/04/12. BR3Z 4602-C 12/04/12 to----

I have no idea the differance. I will try to find out. Help needed.
