$1400?
3.73 gears and labor for install $500
CAI & Tuner $560
Lower Control Arms $100
Throttle Body $325

Comes out to $1485 with discounts, but I'm sure you can find an extra $85. It's worth it!

You could maybe not buy the lower control arms to keep you under $1400, but then you will have trouble getting off the line because of the gears. With the $15 extra you can take yourself to McDonalds.

Just curious where you live that you can get gears INSTALLED for 500. Most places labor alone is 500

CAI + Tune is an absolute must.

I would then get a short throw shifter (Barton or MGW)

Followed by some rear end gears 3.31+ no more than 4.10 (3.55 is a good medium)

I would then get a lethal performance x-pipe system.

After those then would I get a BBK throttle body.

I do not recommend headers unless you literally want to drive a loud annoying machine.

Here are two of my favorite first mods:

LCAs for improved grip:

Lowering springs for improved grip AND improved stance:

I put a bama tune on from american muscle and got the steeda cold air intake.....noticed a decent difference in speed and changed the exhaust. It was somewhere around 800 so you would still have money left for other upgrades.

I got mine done at Fastlane Motorsports in Benson, NC. It was actually $489 for parts, labor, fluids and warranty.
