I'm going with long tubes. I'll have to save up though.

I would also like to know if the shorties are even worth it. Here in Cali we cant have LT's so shorties the next best thing?

I've been thinking about that option for awhile. But I don't know if they are worth it. I am planning on getting some gears first lol. Maybe after that I can start thinking about the shorties. I also wonder if they can fit on my setup. Well i'll have to wait. Btw anyone know how much it cost to install shorties??

Well, I haven't received them yet, but I will post pics, sounds, etc. as I go.

On my previous car (2004 Pontiac GTO), the difference between shorties and LTs was about 5 HP. Drove the folks nuts who sprung for LTs, but then again I did add high-flow cats too.

I'm planning to install the shorties myself. Looks like a breeze compared to some cars, but we'll see how it goes.

The 3.7L cats appear to be pretty good on flow, so we'll see how just shorties do. More as I I get parts and time to install them!

I would love to know how they install. sound, and feel. Exhaust is my next mod. I want to do it right the first time (only going to do this once). Wonder how Borla ATAK cat back with shorties will sound?

That all depends on which series you'd get. I know that the Borla ATAK is the most aggressive sound they have to offer. I was going to get that set up until I saw the price tag haha. I went with Maganaflows instead; it was almost half the price Borla had to offer. I would go with whatever floats your boat, in my option both are reputable companies and both sound like a beast. People have to think twice if my car is a v6 or a v8.
