Hey Windy, I check AM and they said shipment for BBK shorties would start late March. It's the 2nd week of April already lol! Have you heard if AM has them in stock?

How hard of an install is it to do yourself if you don't have a lift, anyone know?

I would say it would be pretty difficult. I've heard that installing them requires you to lift the engine a tad bit to get into the manifolds. I can only imagine how difficult that would be from the ground. Installing them yourself might be more time consuming and less $$$, but you'll have the experience at the end of the day. Is it worth it? I say it is. But if your kinda impatient, i'd bring it to a performance shop.

I don't mind doing the work and learning haha but if you have to lift the engine, I don't have a way to do that. Just from looking tho it seems like there is a decent amount of room. I have jack stands and ramps to lift it up some that way, I just meant I didn't have a lift.

I'm sorry I was looking a video and recalling it from memory. The video was for the 5.0 not the v6. So it would make sence if you didn't have to.

Update...called AM....looks like another 3 weeks on the ceramic coated ones.

On the good news side, all the intake side pieces for my project have arrived, and since I ordered my tuner from them and have free tunes for life, I ordered a set of tunes for just those parts. Now I just need some time alone in the garage!
