Default New Mustang but coolant leak near reservoir

I am not sure if that is anything to worry about...Maybe the clamp on the hose just was not tight enough.

The coolant level has never been messed with it came straight from dealer at the max cold bar.

thanks!

Have you checked to see if there is a crack or puncture hole in the hose where the clamp is?

Its a new car - take it back to the dealer. Even if it is something small they should be the one doing the work on it.

Curious to know what the dealership said. My 2014 has this same issue. I'm going to take it in, but was wondering what you experience. Thanks.

My Raptor had the same issue...on the coolant reservoir and on the power steering hose. It's those crappy clamps. They have a tech bulletin written for certain runs of the Raptor and it was covered under warranty. Good luck!

The clamp isn't tight enough around the hose. Personally, i'd just buy worm clamps at a auto parts store, replace the defective clamp and call it good. The hassle of taking your car in, waiting around for a few hours to fix something that takes a few minutes is just not worth it to me. MY TIME>Cost of clamps and the few minutes to just be done with it.

I went to Sterling McCall Ford in Houston, TX. Great guys fixed it up. They did a 15 min pressure test of the system and it lost 2 psi pressure. All they had to really do is replace the clamp with a much shinier one and moved it upwards. They then re-did the pressure test and it passed.

Yes, shinier parts always work better
