2013 v6 automatic 0-60 time help
#31
hmmmm all that work and only picked up 1.1 sec in the Hot lap. just seems odd with the times it picked up in the 60 ft and on the slalom. Think it would of picked up 3-4 secs. Wish they would give comparisons to a stock and then equally modded GT and even possibly a GT500.

I refer to the C&D Lightning Lap results from time to time:

What is interesting is that the 3.7 was 0.8 seconds faster than the 2010 GT despite hitting the limiter on the straights. It was 3.9 seconds slower than the 5.0. If the limiter were higher, I'm guessing the difference would have been a little closer. Now imagine better gears, better suspension, tune and tires with a higher speed limiter. The difference would probably be negligible.

And the 3.7 is only a tick and a half slower than a "2006" GT500. Wow.
