I have a 14 V6 base manual (18" wheels, Pirelli Nero 235s) and I've been able to do wicked burnouts since I got it, assuming I'm on good blacktop, or I get mad wheel hop. Sometimes can burnout in second gear too (two burnouts in a row). It does have an LSP.

Tires are too expensive to do burnouts anyway........

Default Burnouts? Yes - All Stock!

Overall very happy, but....
I can't do a burnout, even if I turn off TC and hold down the button long enough to turn off advancetrac.
What I mean by burnout is not by power braking but when you are at a stop, foot on the brake and engine at idle, let go of the brake and go WOT at the same time.
I have to admit I'm a little disappointed in the no burnout after hearing of others doing it.

So my question is can those with stock or near stock and just a tune, do a burnout without power-braking?
Just wondering if I am expecting too much from a near-stock 3.7.
I didn't expect it to be possible, but late last year after owning my 2012 V6 ragtop since 7/15/2011, I revved up the engine to about 2800 RPMs and dumped the clutch when I had the pole position at a stop light one night when the car seemed to be running rather well. To my surprise, the beast laid down over 30 feet of rubber - I couldn't very well lift, could I? Shocked both of us in the car that night. At the time I probably had 46,000 miles on the original Radial T/As, and the rest of the car as well, and the top down.

If you own a Mustang, its all about the burnout if needed. Although, my problem is the 89 5.0 burns so hard I blow sideways almost hitting mailboxes. You would not want that its terrible.
