Are the 2011 and 2014 Mustang 3.7 catalytic converters the same?
Im reaching high mileage on my '11 Mustang v6. Its got just over 201,000km. I got a good deal and my friend sold me his entire mufflers/long pipes/manifolds and catalytic converters from his '14 v6 with 22000km when he decided to upgrade it all, been sitting in my basement all wrapped up for almost a year now. My main worry is will my factory o2 sensors still work with the 2014 cats? Or do I have to buy the 2014 o2 sensors. Rockauto states 2012 to 2014 have different kinds. Is there just 2 downstream and 2 upstream? How come the '11 have different o2 sensors than the '12-14??

Thank you David! Yes they are the same based off the fordparts website. My initial thought was why the 2011/2012 have different o2 sensors for the upstream than the ones on 2013/2014 (based off rockauto).

It is strange. Ford parts are showing the same part numbers and price for the downstream O2 sensors for 2011 and 2014. They are showing the same part number but a different DY number (I do not know what the DY means) for the 2014 plus its $20 more than the 2011 upstream O2 sensor. I would just get the sensor for the 2014, just to be sure
