Default CJ Pony Parts Axle Back?

I found a full stainless straight through design for less than 300 bucks?? Apparently CJ Pony Parts gets these systems from some (unnamed) vendor. Has any body had any experience with this system? Or know anyone that's tried one of their systems? You can hardly find anything online without really knowing what to search for since I suppose this is some generic exhaust that they are selling. So I thought I'd give the community a try. Thanks in advance mates'

CJ is reputable, have you tried to contact them? I see you said they get them from an unamed source, did they tell you that or are you guessing?

The only thing I don't like about the details is "Increased Horsepower" that's a stretch at best. Cat backs are not known to be HP gainers. Long Tube headers yes, cat deletes yes, but basically mufflers, no.

Yes, I have contacted them and they told me that it was from an "outside vendor" of course he wouldnt tell me who the vendor was.
This is actually an axle back system and there can be minimal gains seen from axle back or cat back systems for that matter. But im only asking and am most concerned with the sound. So was just curious as to if anyone has actually heard this thing... but now I understand this a new product to the market from them. So hell for 289 odd dollars Im gonna go for it... and post my results.

Thanks for the response!

Yes, that muffler is marketed under a few different names. Price & quality-wise, they're supposed to be a good deal & a good muffler however I've read there is drone associated w/that muffler set-up too, so be advised.

Thumbs up So After About a Month, What's Your Verdict?

Speedy's 3.7, I really appreciate your review of this cost-effective axle-back, so what do you think now?

Still satisfied with the sound?

And the all-important drone; what can you say about it after more time & miles?

Thanks for your insight and by the way, did I see you at Caffeine & Octane at the Beach on Jekyll Island in March?

No problem! and to be honest, its been a month since I posted about it here in the forums but that part was on back order. So I literally just got it this past Friday. So far I haven't been able to hear any drone from this exhaust I mean.. you can see in my video a little how it sounds while cruising,.... but yea you MAYBE can kind of hear a little bit of drone once you get above 90 mph I haven't really been able to hear it profoundly tho. Its just so hard to really try an sustain it because like i state in the review as soon as you let off the gas the exhaust note disappears. Probably the only draw back for me.. as when coming to a stop I'd like to hear those rpms falling down gradually. But its subtle and bad *** when you rip on it!

And nope wasn't me! I'm in the Atlanta area, and haven't really taken her out much in stock form. That will change this summer tho!
