Default My 351, info please

I have a 1995 Ford F-250 with a strong running 351, but the rest of the truck I have put through hell and back, so I will be salvaging the motor and sending the truck and tranny to the junk yard.

I would like to know if this particular motor will be worth dropping into a fox3?

I would also like to know what my stock horse power/torque is on this motor and possibly what to expect out of a low budget rebuild. I will be keeping this motor EFI but have had little to no luck finding an upper and lower intake. I do intend on upgrading to a heavier motor mount, strapping a T556 tranny to it, and running a 4:33 gear. This motor will never see unnatural aspiration or a bottle.

Like I said, I will be working on somewhat of a budget but would like to do it right the first time. So any info as to what stock parts will carry over, and what will definatly need replacing to get any life out of this motor would be ideal.

I know some of you like details so I'll throw out an HP number and say 400ish, give or take... 500 would be nice.

Also salvage yard parts that would be an upgrade would be good to know, but with little to no milling of the block to compensate for incompatible parts if at all possible.

Thanks much in advance.

351's are good motors. WTF is a fox3? Stock HP figures Im unsure of. As for a build, I'd ditch that crappy EFI thats on it and get a decent 4barrel intake (performer RPM, torker, etc) and a 750CFM carb. For one, itll be WAY cheaper and two, it would be way easier to hook it up to the car. Not to mention youll get that throw you back in the seat power when you gun it , that only a carb can give you. Then get yourself a nice bumpstick (cam), and youre off and running. Also, there are TONS of stroker kits available for the 351, the biggest Ive seen was 436 (7.1L).
As for the truck you might as well yank the trans while youre at it and sell it on e-bay, more money for your build.

Thanks for the info.

Fox 3's would be the last of your true fox bodies (94-95 stangs were dubbed as fox4's but the first of the SN95's) I believe your fox2's were also called 4 eyes (correct me if im wrong.

shopping for a 90-93 to drop it in, but a 94 would be ideal.
